Your paradise adventure begins by minibus, as you travel north along the coast before heading inland, to a village populated by Banks and Torres Islands locals, in Vanuatu’s northern reaches. Prepare to be greeted by fierce (but friendly) warriors and a refreshing coconut drink before settling in to watch a kastom (custom dance), the traditional preparation of kava and other traditional and sacred customs.
Daily Activities Include:
String band - On Friday afternoon you can experience this Melanesian style of music that uses western instruments. The string band will entertain guests as they enjoy the Friday evening feast.

Daily Activities Include:
- Kustom dance - Guest are invited to watch the women dance the ceremonial dance and join in if they want to. This is followed by the mens performance, which is only for the men of Leweton as it's forbidden for others to do these dances.
- Fire making - Watch and experience the old way of making fire.
- Kava making - Kava is a native plant of Vanuatu. There are approximately 85 different varieties of kava grown on the Islands of Vanuatu. Kava is used for big ceremonies and bringing peace to the villages. We invite guests to watch how kava is prepared and taste the ceremonial drink.
- Food preparation - Guests are invited to take part in preparing and tasting traditional food of Vanuatu
- Magical Water Music - The highlight of the day is the Magical Water Music performance. This is an amazing display of percussion where water is the instrument. In traditional dress - including arm bands and headwear made from flowers and leaves – the ladies from the remote, northern tropical islands of Vanuatu wade up to their waist to perform mystical water music, unique to this isolated Banks and Torres region.
